Stupendous Man

I first heard Citizen Cope when I saw the Ad for Pontiac, which featured his song “Son’s Gonna Rise”. Many people actually heard about him from that ad, and the song that became an underground hit. Being a huge Indie music fan, I immediately listened to the entire album “The Clarence Greenwood Recordings“, which I must say has some really great songs.

The song below is called Pablo Picasso. The tune is beautiful, but its the lyrics that stand out. Quite simply, this song has one of the best lyrics I have heard in a long time. Note the last line.
