Hi Suyog,

I cannot agree more with what you said here and also in Greatbong’s site.
Our govt just engages in useless motherhood statements like the ones I’ve mentioned in my blog http://oktoberchyld.blogspot.com.

During the parliament attack, atleast Vajpayee govt indulged in some “tough” rhetoric like putting the army in the border. I am not saying that was great or anything but atleast many Indians like me felt good that we reacted somewhat strongly. This govt just beats me…All they do is some stupid statements..Just cannot stand them..I wonder won’t they feel ashamed when they make such statements? I guess they don’t since they are politicians…

I can understand your emotions bro but given the fact that anonymity is so easy to adopt and remain unchecked in India (with zilch CCTVs etc), its almost impossible to put blame and wage some kind of a counter-attack.

And with a diverse country like ours where sections of society are waiting to retaliate in case of any strong action by Govt, its only understandable that such comments and words of consolation are all that our politicians have.

Its an appalling situation but let’s see what the coming days and enquiries bring up.
