Finally I have led Anu (my wifey!) to blogging world. We registered a domain for her last week, and with some Wordpress training, she’s now ready to write about her cooking experiences on her blog.
Her first post, incidentally is also one of my favorite snacks. Head over to Anu’s World to take a look at the recipe, and umm, try it out
She aims to put one or two recipes per week for a start. Later on, as time progresses, I think Anu may have other ideas too for her blog. I am looking forward to the recipes myself, though I am witness to most of ‘em. Its a different feeling to read about what you had earlier in the day hehe ;).
For now, here’s wishing her happy blogging and happy eating (for me!)
Nice. Another one gets the bug. BTW why [dot] net and not com? I just noticed that you too have that suffix. Why?
@Patrix: .com=company & .net=network. I don’t think my personal site is also my corporate entity, nor its a company name. Network somehow seems more appropriate for me for blogs or personal domains which really are about building a network.
In my ideal world (and my own foolishness!), back in 2004/2005 when I registered my domain, I made a mistake of not registering deshpande.net (it was available then!). Then I’d simply have sub-domains like suyog.deshpande.net, anupama.deshpande.net and the likes. Now the domain is too costly ;). That’s probably where the idea of .net came from too I guess.
