Six Random Things

SEV has tagged me with most exciting thing to happen to me in ages! Here it is then, the “Six random facts about me” tag.

Without much ado or care for rules and regulations to this tag (or in other words too lazy), here are 6 random things that you already did not know about me:

#1 - I postpone grocery shopping till last available thing in the house has run out, and my wifey & I both run out of creative ideas to prepare food with what we have. It is in this desperation, we both go out to do grocery. Neat money saving idea eh?

#2 - I (and luckily my wifey) are national park lovers. Somehow big city touristy destinations (read London, New York, SFO, Paris or of the type) never get us excited. Give us an offbeat destination or a national park with lots of nature, we’ll be game for it any day any time! Who wants to look at Mona Lisa in person we’ve watched a million times in 10000 different variations? Give us a Prague or Austria any day! Or better yet Costa Rica, Galapagos, Machchu Pichchu or the likes.

#3 - I admit it, I am a sucker for airport and airplane food. I get excited about eating food on international flights, however bad or bland it is! In my experience off late, the morning breakfast dosa that British Airways serves is just damn tasty. Of course Air India rules when it comes to food.

#4 - When I can afford it, I really really want to go on South America Photo expedition aboard the National Geographic cruise liners (yeah, they run cruises too.) They are bloddy hell expensive, but the kind of places they take you too puts all those luxury liners to shame.

#5 - Kung Pao Chicken served at P F Changs makes me excited like a 4 year old kid given a new toy. Even before we come out of the restaurant, I am always thinking when we’ll be back there next!

#6 - I think blogging, podcasting, social networking, twittering, video blogging etc etc have all become a passe and a tool for the lonely to keep them entertained and in know. When I was in DC with friends, blogging was all about I had time for. Now I have time for all of this and more.

I am supposed to tag 6 people, but I guess fewer number actually read this blog LOL - so, whoever wants to pick up the tag, please, please do so!!!
